You can now order alcohol from the LCBO in Toronto via a delivery app

Through the meal delivery app Toronto Alcohol Delivery, you can now purchase booze delivery directly from the LCBO in Toronto. 15 LCBO stores in Toronto will be the first locations of the cooperation. According to the agreement, Skip the Dishes will be the only place customers can request LCBO delivery on demand. The government-run store used to offer Canada Post as a delivery option for booze, but it was impossible to predict when it would arrive, and the time window ranged from a few days to a few weeks. As a result, only the business's routine stock list was available for direct delivery through the LCBO. With the launch of this new delivery service through Toronto Alcohol Delivery, more than 300 wines, beers, and spirits—including several regional alcoholic beverages—will now be available. Customers can also order gift bags, boxes, and ice through the delivery option. According to LCBO President & CEO George Soleas, "We think it will be a big success over the holiday season, and we intend to expand the service farther across the province in the new year." The regular Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario rules regarding selling alcohol continue to be in effect. Therefore, the delivery will be cancelled if the intended receiver cannot provide a proper ID, looks to be intoxicated, or tries to buy something for a child or someone who is impaired. While operating at 50% capacity and requiring all patrons to maintain a two-meter separation from one another at all times, all LCBO stores and other liquor outlets remain open even in areas that are on lockdown. Except on Mondays, the LCBO's alcohol delivery service will be accessible daily from 10 a.m. until an hour before closing.
